From the 3 July 2017, Queensland will operate under new planning legislation, with the new Planning Act 2016 (Planning Act) replacing the current Sustainable Planning Act 2009 (SPA).
It is, by no means, a small change.
QELA is hosting a series of sessions that address key changes in legislation and some of the implications for practice.
Session 1: SPA to Planning Act – An Overview
To be held 29 June at 5pm – 8pm
TBA – Key staff from the Department of Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning will provide an overview of the key changes in legislation.
